Man falls from M6 motorway bridge

POLICE have confirmed that a man has fallen from a bridge above the M6 on Junction 2.

Officers from Warwickshire Police were called to the scene at 12.45pm over ‘concerns for a man’s safety.’

The man then fell from the bridge and has since been taken to hospital.

His injuries are unknown at this stage.

Warwickshire Police had tweeted from their official account that people travelling on the southbound carriageway to expect delays.

Road closures were in place, but have since been lifted.
