A MAN who has been arrested and charged with drink-driving, using a vehicle without insurance and speeding had open beer cans in his car.
The 26-year-old was spotted by officers from Coventry Police on Sky Blue Way on Sunday night travelling at 53mph in the 30mph zone.
When they pulled him over, they noticed the cans and, after failing a breathalyser test, he was taken into custody.
He was arrested, spent the night in the cells and was then charged with the offences.
