Man in critical condition after Coventry stabbing

A MAN is in a critical condition after being stabbed in Coventry.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating after a man was stabbed at a property in Sedgemoor Road in the Whitley area of Coventry just before 5.30pm yesterday (Sunday, March 17).

“The 36-year-old was taken to hospital with a serious injury to his chest, where he remains in a critical condition today (Monday, March 18).

“A 37-year-old man, who is known to the victim, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding and remains in police custody.”
