A MAN remains in a serious condition after being stabbed in the chest in Coventry on Saturday (June 15).
Police confirmed today (June 17) they are still appealing for information and the man, 23, is being treated in hospital.
On Sunday West Midlands Police said: “We were called by ambulance colleagues to Widdecombe Close, Wood End, to reports of a stabbing at 4.45pm yesterday (June 15).
“A 23-year-old man sustained a chest injury and was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
“The incident is not being linked to the murder in Coventry earlier this week.
“Enquiries to trace those responsible are continuing and anyone with information is asked to get in touch via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, call 101 anytime.
