A MAN has been killed after being hit by a train at Tile Hill train station on Thursday (May 4) morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received a call at 10.10am following reports of a collision between a train and a pedestrian.
Two ambulances and a paramedic area support officer were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a man with extremely serious injuries following the collision.
“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
