Man stabbed and attacked with baseball bat in Coventry robbery

A MAN has been stabbed and attacked with a baseball bat during a robbery in Coventry.

Police are investigating after the suspected robbery in Lockhurst Lane, Foleshill, Coventry, around 9.30pm yesterday (June 3).

A spokesperson said: “The 21-year-old was hit with a baseball bat and then stabbed in the stomach after being set on by two men.

“He also suffered a hand injury and was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

“Mobile phones were taken from the stab victim along with another man who was with him at the time.

“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, or call 101 anytime. Please quote crime reference number 20CV/131610M/19.”
