Man stabbed in Coventry at midday discharged from hospital

A MAN has been discharged from hospital after he was stabbed yesterday morning (August 30) at a business premises in Coventry.

Police officers and West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to Crampers Field in Radford following reports of a stabbing after a man’s watch was stolen.

A 46-year-old man who ran to the victim’s aid was then stabbed and suffered stab injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry, he has since been discharged.

The man who had his watch stolen was treated at the scene with a grazed hand.

Police officers closed the road for forensic examination and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
