TWO stabbings have taken place in Far Gosford Street in the space of a week.
A 41-year-old man was attacked on Sunday evening and police are still searching for the assailant.
Yesterday evening, police were called to Far Gosford Street again after another stabbing occurred following a dispute.
Coventry Police said: “An investigation is underway after a man was attacked in Far Gosford Street this evening.
“Police were called at 5.45pm by a local shopkeeper to reports of a man being stabbed following a dispute nearby.
“Officers are actively searching for the attacker and any witnesses who saw what happened.
“The victim was given first aid at the scene and is currently receiving hospital treatment.
“Inquiries are on-going and anyone with information which may help should call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. The information you provide may result in a reward.”
