Man suffers life-changing injuries after terrifying hammer attack

A MAN suffered life-changing injuries after being attacked with a hammer and kicked as he fell to the floor in Coventry.

Police have launched an appeal for information after the incident which occurred at around 3pm yesterday (October 7).

Coventry Police said: “Did you witness an assault in Coventry at around 3pm yesterday?

“A man in his mid-30s suffered life-changing injuries after being hit on the head with a hammer and kicked as he fell to the floor at the junction of Clark Street and Bell Green Road, Bell Green.




“The suspect, a man aged between 30 and 40, is described as white, around 5 foot 6 inches tall and of a large build.

“He wore black framed glasses and a plain grey tracksuit. Do you know who this could be?
