Manhunt after Coventry city centre attack leaves victim needing surgery

A POLICE manhunt has been stepped up after a Coventry city centre attack that left a victim needing reconstructive surgery.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Have you seen Akash Kumar?

“The 24-year-old from the Holbrooks area of Coventry is wanted for an attack in the city centre in March this year, that left a man needing surgery for several facial injuries.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact us via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight or call 101 anytime, quoting crime reference 20CV/68141L/19.

“Crimestoppers can be called anonymously 0800 555 111.”
