COVENTRIANS are being urged to put their foot forward for the Memory Walk, which will be returning to War Memorial Park later this year.
The walk will start at 10am on Sunday, September 24 and will look to once again raise much-needed cash for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The event is free to take part in and is available to people of all ages and abilities.
Cash raised will go towards funding faster diagnosis, vital research, and helping people with dementia live more fulfilled lives.
If people aren’t able to attend the hosted event, they will be able to take on their own Memory Walk wherever and whenever they like.
One in three people born today in the UK will go on to develop dementia in their lifetime, and an estimated 84,090 people are currently living with the condition in the West Midlands.
