THE MET Office has issued another weather warning for wind for the West Midlands and most of England and Wales, just two days after Storm Eunice passed.
The yellow warning comes into force at 12pm today and remains in place until 1pm tomorrow (Monday).
It is the prelude to Storm Franklin, expected to arrive from the west tonight, first hitting Northern Ireland but then crossing the UK.
Although predicted not to be as fierce as Storm Eunice, the Met Office still says, with winds of up to 30mph and gusts of up to 50mph, there is a danger of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs and trees and branches could be brought down.
There could also be disruption to road and rail with longer journey times and cancellations possible.
Power cuts could occur and some roads and bridges may close.
In Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull, rain is expected to start around 2pm and continue until 9pm. It is forecast to be heavy at times.
