More snow on the way for Coventry and Warwickshire as Met Office issues weather warning

Coventry Editorial 7th Jan, 2021 Updated: 8th Jan, 2021   0

SNOW is set to fall into the early hours across Coventry and Warwickshire with the Met Office issuing a warning for snow and ice across Coventry and Warwickshire for the next 24 hours.

Temperatures are currently below freezing point with snow likely to fall until around midnight and then again in the morning.

Snow looks likely to be light but continuous during those times.

Travel could be disrupted with roads, pathways and cycle paths becoming treacherous for those who use them.

People are being urged to take care on their journeys when they are out and about, whether it is to and from work (if they cannot work from home), on their daily exercise session or for essential shopping trips, medical appointments or to care for the vulnerable.
