A man was treated for multiple serious injuries following a collision between a motorbike and a car last night (Thursday).

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Hipswell Highway in Coventry shortly after 6.50pm and sent two ambulances.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered a man, believed to be in his late teens, who they were told by bystanders had initially lost consciousness following the collision with the car.

“Ambulance staff treated him for multiple injuries, including to his head, chest, arm and leg.

“He was fully immobilised and had pain relief administered before being transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire on blue lights and sirens.

“There were no other patients from the incident.”
