THE family of ‘much-loved’ Coventry man Mark Nesmith are encouraging mourners to wear bright clothing and ‘bring a big smile’ to his funeral.
The funeral service will take place at Coventry Cathedral on Friday, September 15, at 1pm and allow family members, friends, and others to celebrate his life.
Mark died of his injuries after he was stabbed at the BP Garage during the early hours of June 11.
‘Nessy’ worked as a tattoo artist at Wyken-based Grizzlys tattoo shop.
Meanwhile Linda Erison set-up a gofundme page to support Mark’s family.
Linda wrote on the page: “He was a lovely guy who had a real zest for life, enjoyed a laugh and everyone liked him
“He was a very talented tattooist and he loved what he did and many knew him working at Grizzlys tattoo shop in Wyken.
“Hopefully we can raise enough money to give him a wonderful send off and for his girlfriend and family.
“I will be passing over the money to Grizzly at the tattoo shop in Wyken for him to pass over to Ness’s family.”
