FILM festival organisers are seeking short films for Warwick’s third annual Big Picture Festival.
The festival, organised by not-for-profit arts organisation Live & Local, will be screening from November 27 to December 5.
Organisers are looking for short films from local filmmakers across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The theme is ‘Small Voices, Big Impact’, centring around community and/or family, and organisers are keen to encourage submissions from diverse and disabled filmmakers.
All entries must be submitted by August 31. Successful filmmakers are also in with the chance of winning a cash prize – a first place of £200 and two runners-up of £50 each.
The submitted short films must be no longer than 40 minutes. All films will be available as part of the festival’s online offering for ticketholders until the end of the festival. Filmmakers whose films are chosen by the jury to be featured in the programme will be contacted after the deadline
