A MULTI-million trampoline park is set to become the first of its kind in Coventry and North Warwickshire.

The new leisure attraction is expected to open its doors in July and will be constructed on School Lane in Exhall.

Leading Midlands commercial property company The Wigley Group acquired the site in early 2016, and they’ve now agreed a long lease through commercial property agents Bromwich Hardy for a 53,525 sq ft unit.

Operated by Red Kangaroo, the park will feature 75 trampolines and create around 80 jobs.

Paul Wrightman, managing director of Red Kangaroo, said the new attraction could welcome 2,000 visitors during a typical week.

He added: “We chose this area because there is currently no other trampoline park and this site gave us the size of premises that we were looking for.

“Our huge trampoline parks will offer lots of fun-based trampoline activities with a few new surprises too.

“I am particularly excited about the job creation opportunities our park will attract and the healthy aspect of this leisure facility combining fun and exercise all in one.”

The park will feature a large half pipe, cardio wall, power tower, a slide, ninja courses, dodgeball courts, a gladiator beam and an extra-large foam pit.

Based at Middlemarch Business Park in Coventry, The Wigley Group owns and manages business and industrial parks across the Midlands.

Director James Davies said: “We are extremely pleased to have the right use for this unit which given its size and location, is a prime commercial site.

“Red Kangaroo will be undertaking a complete fit out of the building and we are looking forward to helping them establish a trampoline park here as part of their plans to roll out across the UK.

“The significant investment and job creation from this development is a great boost for the local economy and it promises to be an exciting attraction for the area.”
