A MURDER suspect is in custody after a fatal stabbing in Coventry.
Police were called to an address in Newcombe Road just before 2pm on Saturday (March 15) after two men were found with serious stab wounds.
When they arrived, a man in his 50s was found dead and a second man, also in his 50s, was found with potentially life changing facial injuries and was taken to hospital.
A 51-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of murder.
A cordon was put in place at the scene as police carried out forensic examinations and other enquiries.
Officers will be carrying out additional patrols in the area to reassure and support the community over the coming days.
