MOTOFEST has announced it will be holding a free afterparty on Saturday, September 10 at Warwick Road.
The concert will be headlined by up-and-coming London female indie rock group Carpark and will also feature West Bromwich band Wounded Spirit.
Coventry covers group Mind the Gap and Birmingham reggae artists Metz Jnr band will also be taking the stage.
Alongside the main Saturday evening concert, there will be live music on both Motofest days at stages across Coventry.
Motofest will be driving into the city between September 10 and September 11 and is a festival celebrating Coventry’s motoring heritage.
The wider line-up includes the Digbeth dining clubs food and drink village, which will be placed along the Warwick Road.
There will also be a traditional funfair featuring rides, competitions and challenges for the whole family.
E.ON, who have linked up with Motofest for the event, will be hosting the Veloce Racing Extreme E Race series Simulator on their exhibition stand.
CycleFest at MotoFest will allow thousands of riders to take part in the Ring Road Sprint Circuit on the Satuday evening from 6.30pm onwards.
There will also be classic, modern modified static car and motorcycle displays across the city centre, as well as alternatively fueled vehicles, electric cars and advanced automotive technology.
Coun Abdul Salam Khan, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Events at Coventry City Council said: “We know Motofest is always a popular, well-attended event and its fitting that such a big celebration of our transport heritage and future innovation takes place in Coventry city centre.”
