Dirt Road Band – What’s Going Down
Back in December I wrote this of the Dirt Road Band: “Best Artists of the year, There are musicians, and there are DRB musicians, singularly these guys (Horace Panter, Steve Walwyn and Ted Duggan) are some of the area’s finest, but collectively they are a powerhouse of rock n blues, musically untouchable and a highlight of so many people’s Godiva Festival.”
So imagine what such a band would sound like if they were to go into the studio to put down some of that said powerhouse of rock n blues?
Well, imagine no more as the long awaited single from the band is available in all its hard hitting glory.
‘What’s Going Down’ is one of four songs recently recorded at Woodbine Street Studio in Leamington Spa, written by Steve Walwyn.
To say it rocks along at a pace is something of an understatement.
You know when you hear a track from a forthcoming album and it puts a smile on your face with anticipation, because you just know that album is going to be as dynamic as the lead track, well smile my friends because this is one such time.
I personally can’t wait to share the next part of this stunning bands journey right down that dirt road.
