FOLLOWING on from the success of last year’s FuseFest, they are pleased to present the line up for this year’s three-day extravaganza, SydniFest, which is now fast approaching!!

It starts today (Thursday, June 22) and goes on until Saturday, June 24. The event again will feature a host of solo and duo/acoustic acts from 4.30pm right through to 11pm, and we hope you will go along, show them your support, and enjoy the music!

The Leamington pub – The Fusilier – will host a three-day festival of live music to raise money for the charity Blood Cancer UK.

Organised by the veteran promoter, Peter Drew, the festival will present over 30 outstanding local acts including Peter’s own rock outfit The Intruders.

The massively varied line up covers original songwriters, rock, ska, blues, soul and even an Elvis interpreter!

Thursday evening is dedicated to acoustic performers and will be MC’d by the fabulous Abi Rowberry.

The festival will headlined by punk and mod giants Johnny Seven soul legends Chain of Fools.

Beautify Junkyards and Large Plants – Thursday, June 22 – The Tin Music and Arts

Beautify Junkyards are a highly talented group of multi-instrumentalists headed up by Joao Branco Kyron on vocals and keyboards, Helena Espvall (formerly of Espers) on cello, flute and electric guitar, newest band member Martinez on vocals, Joao Moreira on acoustic guitar and keyboards, Sergue Ra on bass and Antonio Watts on drums and percussion.

Recent album ‘Cosmorama’ was a big success and universally well-received by the press, receiving special features in magazines like Mojo, Uncut, Electronic Sound and Shindig, and airplay all across European and American radio.

Large Plants is the hauntological fuzz-rock project of Jack Sharp, former singer-guitarist from psych-folk luminaries Wolf People.

In 2022 the band dropped an acid-rock cover of Madonna’s ‘La Isla Bonita’ on the Ghost Box label, followed swiftly by their debut LP ‘The Carrier’, described by Shindig as ‘A succinct distillation of folk-rock magnificence’.

Now a formidable live act, Large Plants recently toured the UK in support of grunge legends Mudhoney.
