New Mexican restaurant set to open in Coventry, bringing 20 jobs

A NEW Mexican restaurant is set to open its doors in Coventry city centre later this month.

The cosy eatery Tortilla will be located at SU5 Cathedral Lanes after its launch on October 28.

It will have the capacity to seat up to 14 people and will create 20 jobs for local people – the roles will range from front of house to kitchen and management.

Further information will be made available nearer the opening date.

The brand prides itself on its customisable and authentic California-style menu, with dishes to suit all tastes, cravings, or dietary requirements and its competitive prices.

Diners – who can either eat in, take away or have food delivered – build up their tortillas with a choice of fillings such as Mexican rice, black beans, grilled seasonal veggies and fresh mild, medium and hot salsas, including their fresh, hand-smashed guacamole.

Tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas and other dishes are available, along with vegan and vegetarian options.

Visit www.tortilla.co.uk for more.
