COVENTRY City Council has said it has not yet identified any areas of concern where city schools were built using Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC.)
But the authority added it would continue to investigate within schools the it maintains to identify whether there is any RAAC that requires action to be taken.
Last week, the Department for Education contacted 104 schools telling them to close all buildings known to contain RAAC, advising no education space or area be open without mitigations in place.
RAAC is a lightweight concrete used in roofs, floors and walls between the 1950s and 1990s.
