COVENTRIANS can help celebrate the city’s NHS staff at the outstanding service and care awards (OSCA’s).
The OSCA’s, now in its 16th year, celebrates NHS staff at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust who go above and beyond to care for patients and make a difference to others.
Staff, patients and loved ones can submit nominations honouring the work of individuals and teams at UHCW NHS Trust- including clinical, non-clinical or from its support services.
Nominations close at 11.59pm on Thursday, July 13, with the winners revealed at a ceremony in September.
Last year’s OSCA’s saw almost 1,200 nominees put forward by grateful Coventrians.
Prof Andy Hardy, Chief Executive Officer at UHCW NHS Trust, said: “We have inspirational staff working across our hospitals and community settings who take great pride in caring for the communities we serve.
“The OSCAs are just one of the ways in which we get to say ‘thank you’ and give our amazing colleagues the recognition they deserve.
“I’d like to encourage anyone who has experienced or observed great care or service to submit a nomination and tell us how our staff helped make a difference.”
