A NEW CARE home in Nuneaton opened last Friday (August, 9) and has created 60 jobs and 66 places for people to live.
The home was opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony by deputy mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Bhim Saru.
The ceremony welcomed staff and public with refreshments and entrees made by the in-house chef, and a performance by the Nuneaton Ukulele Jam Band, raising money for the Mary Evans Hospice.
Holly Grange House care home provides residential, dementia and respite care for its residents.
The home also has a sensory garden, an onsite hair and beauty salon, cinema and a library.
The home manager Helen Bundell said: “I am so excited to be leading Holly Grange House here in Coventry; it is a wonderful opportunity for all of the team to provide excellent care in an amazing environment.
“It’s great to be opening the doors officially today, and welcoming in the community whom we will be a part of.”
