ALL Nuneaton Borough season ticket holders will be able to access Solihull Moors’s latest game free of charge.
Solihull’s home game against Altrincham will kick off on Saturday, February 3 at the ARMCO Arena.
Earlier this month, Boro announced it will be withdrawing from this season’s Southern Central Premier League as they face ‘insurmountable challenges.’
Boro has been mired in financial difficulties recently, and in October fears spread the club might be unable to continue playing.
It has been facing ‘ongoing issues’ regarding its ability to use Liberty Way as its home ground.
A statement from Solihull Moors said: “Every football supporter in Warwickshire deserves to have their football fix on a Saturday afternoon, no matter who you support.
“We are not asking you to switch your allegiance to Solihull Moors, we sincerely hope there will be a club in the future for you to follow every week in the borough of Nuneaton.
“But by showing solidarity with our Warwickshire footballing friends, this is the correct move to ensure you can still get to watch 90 minutes of football on a Saturday afternoon from the terraces.”
CEO Mark Palmer, added: “We’re delighted as a club to be able to stand in solidarity with fans in our region and offer them this gesture of support in offering an opportunity to give Boro fans their live football fix this Saturday.”
To gain free entry fans must head to the box office in Car Park A and show the ticketing staff a Nuneaton Borough season ticket.
