Nuneaton pair charged with shoplifting after £1,700 worth of Lego was stolen

TWO people have been charged with shoplifting after Lego worth around £1,700 was reported stolen from a shop.

It is believed the thefts took place in two separate incidents on Saturday and Sunday.

Sarah Vernon, aged 40, and Jacob Porter, 32, were arrested on Sunday at their home in Abbey Street, Nuneaton on suspicion of two counts of shoplifting each.

After being arrested by response officers, they were charged with two counts of theft each and remanded in custody to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today.
