A CONVERSATION over lunch to explore equalities and human rights in Coventry will take place in Foleshill as part of this year’s Heritage Open Days in the city.
‘Our Place at the Table’, a free lunch and open conversation exploring equalities and human rights in Coventry, will be held on Saturday September 21 from noon to 4pm.
It will be held at Feeding Coventry, Foleshill Community Centre, 757 Foleshill Rd, Coventry, and will include a feast of food and creativity, bringing together artists, activists, academics and the wider community in an honest conversation, sharing stories, views and experiences.
‘Our Place at the Table’ will follow a now fully booked tour of the area called ‘A Taste of Foleshill: Guided Heritage Walk’ which will feature many of the locations that can be found on ‘The Foleshill Trail’, a new guide to the famous Coventry road which was launched earlier this year as part of Coventry’s Great Place Project.
Ana Gillespie, senior producer at Coventry City of Culture Trust, said: “We commissioned this new walk to add new stories to Heritage Open Days in Coventry and it has proved to be so popular that it has sold out.
