IN THE PAST few years churches, nurseries, schools, group of friends and workplaces have held collections for Cheylesmore Food Hub to help stock the shelves.
With the increasing demand and dropping donation levels over the year, the hub is urging people to collect food items for the hub.
The organisation have multiple local collection points at Paws Pet Shop, The Festival Pub and Cheylesmore Community Centre.
Cheylesmore Food Hub volunteers are currently packing 80 to 100 bags each week and also restock the food cupboard each week.
