MORE THAN 700 job opportunities will be up for grabs when the Coventry Jobs Fair comes to the CBS Arena on Wednesday, February 22.
The three-hour event will get under way at 10am and will be the first of four jobs fairs in 2023 following the show’s expansion.
The others will take place on May 5, August 4 and November 10.
Around 50 employers from various industries will be in attendance, with jobs on offer for anyone from school leavers and those who have been unemployed long-term to those looking to gain flexible part-time or contract work.
Those expected to attend include shipping company DHL, West Midlands Police, Coventry City Council, Coventry Building Society, the University of Warwick and telecoms company BT Open Reach.
There will be roles in areas including hospitality, customer service, administration and healthcare, while traineeships and apprenticeship programmes will also be showcased.
The Jobs Fair commercial director Sean Heppinstall said: “The fairs are great opportunities for both employers and jobseekers to engage with the job market.
“Our fairs continue to be very popular and this year’s expansion will allow us to support even more Coventry and Warwickshire-based jobseekers and businesses in what is an increasingly challenging job market.”
