A SERIES of overnight closures on the A46 Kenilworth Bypass and the A45 Stonebridge Highway will take place from today (Monday).
The A46 Kenilworth Bypass northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for seven nights until Sunday (December 6) as work continues on the A45/A46 Tollbar End Improvement scheme.
The A45 Stonebridge Highway westbound and eastbound will be closed overnight for seven nights from next Monday (December 7) to Sunday (December 13). Closures will be in place from 8pm until 6am each night.
Road surfacing will be carried out on the A45 Stonebridge Highway, the A46 Kenilworth Bypass and the slip road to Stivichall junction, which is currently being widened.
The closures will also allow for the installation of street lighting, road signs and the removal of temporary concrete barriers.
Paul Nagra, Highways England’s project manager, said: “We have planned the closures to take place overnight, from 8pm until 6am, when traffic flows are at their lowest.
“The closures are required to ensure the safety of both the workforce and the travelling public while these works are being carried out.”
Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
