A 73-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the murder of his wife Tracy Stonehouse.
She was found fatally stabbed at an address in Chelmsley Wood on Friday April 6.
Arthur Stonehouse, of Coralin Close, Chelmsley Wood, was arrested for the 51-year-old’s murder after her body was discovered in the early hours at the address.
A post mortem examination established Tracy suffered multiple stab wounds and other injuries to her head and neck.
The retired man who was arrested, and then taken to hospital after being taken ill, was charged with her murder on Sunday April 15.
He has pleaded guilty to her murder at Birmingham Crown Court.
Stonehouse is due to appear back there on August 6 where he will be sentenced.
