Plain-clothed police patrols to combat Coventry car crime leads to arrest

POLICE have stepped up plain-clothed patrols in an area of Coventry where there has been an increase in car crime.

And the move in Radford – and a number of stops – have already yielded a result.

One man was arrested, charged and remanded in custody.

He is appearing in court today.

West Midlands Police has a wealth of advice for drivers to lessen the chance of them becoming a victim of car crime.
