PEOPLE are invited to have their say on plans for thousands of new homes on land between Kenilworth and Coventry.
A draft masterplan has been drawn up by Warwick District Council for 4,000 homes to be built at the proposed King’s Hill development by 2050.
The masterplan sets out a clear vision for the emerging new neighbourhoods, incorporating high-quality architecture and landscape design across the entire site. It also sets out the coordinated delivery of essential infrastructure including schools, transport links, healthcare provision and community facilities.
WDC’s place spokesperson Coun Chris King said: “Kings Hill is a large and strategically significant site, and this SPD sets out clear guidance to ensure the creation of a well-planned, sustainable community supported by the necessary infrastructure. I encourage all interested parties to review the document and contribute to shaping the future development of this area.”
The public consultation runs until March 27.
