POLICE are investigating the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Bedworth.

Officers were called just before 10.30pm on Saturday to reports of several people fighting outside Saunders Hall Working Mens Club, Saunders Avenue.

They found a 16-year-old had been taken to hospital with a stab wound to his body. He remains there in a serious condition.

While no arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing and police say it is being treated as an isolated incident with no threat to the wider community.

Witnesses or anyone with information on the incident or dash cam footage from outside the club should call Warwickshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
