POLICE are appealing as a motorcyclist remains in a critical condition after a collision in Coventry.

Officers want to hear from witnesses and seek dashcam footage following the collision between a motorcycle and a car in Coventry shortly after 2.30pm yesterday (October 3).

The rider, a 55-year-old man, remains in a critical condition in hospital after colliding with a red Audi A4 in Dunsmore Avenue, Willenhall, police said today.

West Midlands Police wants to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and has not already spoken to officers.

The force said: “Investigators are particularly keen to get in touch with drivers who were nearby and may have dashcam footage.

“The white scooter-style motorcycle is distinctive in that it was being used for food delivery at the time with a large storage box on the rear of the bike.”

PC Kate Hall, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We’re working to establish the circumstances around what happened. We are keen to hear from anyone who can assist us in our enquiries.”

Anyone with information can get in touch via Live Chat, quoting log number 1373 of 3/10/2019. Alternatively call 101.
