WEST MIDLANDS Police have launched an investigation after a man has been injured in a Coventry shooting.
Officers were called to Caludon Castle Park last night (October 21), at 10.17pm when shots were fired and a 24-year-old man was found with serious injuries.
The man was taken to hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition.
The force has spoken to witnesses and are carrying out CCTV enquiries in and around the area and extra patrols have been stepped up today to offer reassurance to the local community.
