WARWICKSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Exhall, Coventry.
Last Friday (November 29), at 8.30pm, the force received a report that a blue Hyundai car had collided with a pedestrian on Coventry road.
Officers are looking for the driver of a red Uber car, who may be able to help police with the investigation on the collision
The driver called police and ambulance services and the pedestrian (a man in his 40s) sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment – fire services were also at the scene.
Officers believe a red Uber vehicle stopped next to the pedestrian before the collision took place before driving off.
The police are also looking for anyone who saw or who has CCTV or dashcam footage of a male in dark clothing carrying a white plastic bag walking along Coventry Road towards Bedworth from Exhall.
The investigating officer is PC 1616 Pennington.
