IT WAS a good day for the Coventry Police Force Support Unit after three arrests relating to two different drugs incidents.
In the first, this morning, the unit assisted the police’s Coventry Gangs Team which intervened in what looked like a street deal.
But when the man was detained and searched, 131 individual packets of class A drugs were discovered, along with two bags of cannabis and £70 in cash.
Then later a cannabis factory was uncovered in Hillfields.
After suspicions were raised about a building in the area, officers used their powers to force entry to the premises and found a large cannabis factory.
As well as shutting that down and seizing the equipment and plants, two people were also arrested at the scene.
