POLICE are investigating an assault on a woman at a Leamington nightclub.
A woman in her late teens was left with a cut to her head after an altercation with another woman.
The attack took place at Smack Nightclub in Tavistock Street at around 3am on New Year’s Day.
Her injuries were not believed to be serious and officers arrested an 18-year-old woman on suspicion of assault who was later released under investigation.
Police are now calling on anyone with information to contact them by calling 101 or call 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
