POLICE neighbourhood teams in Coventry have been busy conducting speed checks and seizing vehicles at the start of 2025.
Radford Neighbourhood Team spotted a vehicle on Jubilee Crescent that was believed to be associated with crime. Checks revealed the vehicle had no tax and no insurance, and the van was seized.
Stoke and Wyken Police officers conducted speed checks along Clifford Bridge Road following community concerns.
The team is also holding a PACT meeting at Wyken Community Centre on January 20 from 6pm to 7pm.
Canley Neighbourhood Team responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle on Faulconbridge Avenue. Officers recovered the car after checks revealed it was found to be stolen.
The team also recovered a second stolen car from Skylark Street.
A prolific shoplifter in Earlsdon was charged after being arrested within 24 hours of a theft offence.
