Police release CCTV to find witnesses after man forces his way into Coventry home and threatens residents at gunpoint

POLICE have released these pictures of people they want to speak to in connection with an incident in Coventry.

A man forced his way into a property in Leopold Road, Coventry, at 11.15pm on September 21 where he allegedly threatened residents with a gun.

Officers believe he was looking for someone before he smashed a window at the home and left.

The CCTV picture shows the group of young men police want to talk to – the suspect stopped to speak to them on Nicholls Street after the incident.




Officers think they could be key witnesses in the investigation and are urging them to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Alternatively they can visit west-midlands.police.uk and submit information via live chat.


Man charged

A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with the robbery on September 21, and he has been remanded by the courts to appear at a later date.
