Police release picture of man they want to speak to over vicious attack on taxi driver in Coventry

A TAXI driver was attacked in Coventry by a man who threatened to set his car on fire.

Coventry Police have released this picture of a man they want to speak to following the assault in Linwood Drive, just after midnight on August 24.

The driver was punched multiple times before the threat was made to set his car ablaze.

Fortunately the driver was not seriously injured by the blows but he has been left extremely shaken up.

Anyone who knows who the man pictured is should call Coventry Police on 101 or submit the information via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk
