Police release pictures of shoplifting gang operating in Coventry and Walsall

POLICE are trying to trace a shoplifting gang which has been targeting shops in Coventry and Walsall.

Officers believe the same group, made up of a number of men and young children, are responsible for targeting at least four convenience stores in the last few months.

The thieves work together to distract shop workers as they steals items such a cigarettes, alcohol and mobile phones.

The gang’s members have been captured on CCTV at various different shops and some of the images have been released today as part of an ongoing investigation to identify them.

Anyone who recognises the suspects un the collage of photographs or has any other information that could help, is urged to get in touch with West Midlands Police as soon as possible.
