Police shut down Coventry property after reports of drug-dealing and anti-social behaviour

A PROPERTY in Coventry has been shut down after concerns were raised by the community about it being used for drug-dealing and anti-social behaviour.

West Midlands Police took the action at the home on Rollason Road.

Officers, as part of Operation Advance, executed a warrant following a number of reports of drug usage and dealing happening at the address.

When they attended, a large amount of drug paraphernalia was found inside.

A week later, a full closure order was secured, making it an offence for anyone to enter until the end of November.

The police added now the site had now been fully sealed up, preventing anyone from gaining access.

Ch Insp Daryl Lyon said: “We are continuing to take action wherever and whenever we receive reports of anti-social behaviour and crime.

“We would again urge anyone concerned about this kind of activity where they live to get in touch with us and let us know.”

Anyone concerned about anti-social behavior or drug dealing where they live should call 101 or submit details via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk.
