Coventry Editorial 6th Nov, 2022   0

POLICE investigating the death of a man in Birmingham’s Cathedral Square are trying to contact this man as they believe he may be able to help piece together what happened.

The man died on October 19 and this picture was released after a bank card was stolen and used in Coventry.

Police have now revealed the stolen bank card belong to the deceased man.

The results of his post mortem were inconclusive. Further tests are being carried out, although the police said, based on what officers knew currently, they did not believe he died as a result of a criminal act.

They are keen to speak to the man pictured to understand the events leading up to him having possession of the bank card.

Officers are urging anyone who knows who he is – or the man himself – to contact them as soon as possible.

Police believe he may have links to Birmingham and Coventry.
