A PROLIFIC shoplifter who targeted Coventry stores has been jailed after a crime spree.
West Midlands Police were alerted to items being stolen from a shop in Fairfax street on Friday afternoon (November, 1).
Chloe Neville was identified as the prime suspect and officers tracked her movements on CCTV which led to the arrest of the 39-year-old a short while later in White Street.
Following quick time enquiries the force were able to link her to a number of other shop thefts in the city centre throughout September and October.
Neville, of no fixed address, admitted five counts of theft and also an offence of assault.
She was jailed for three months and two weeks at Coventry Magistrates Court on Saturday (November, 2).
