Property damaged and 19-year-old injured as shots are fired in Coventry street

THE WINDOW of a property was damaged after gunshots were fired in a street in Foleshill, Coventry, around 7.10pm last night.

Casings have been recovered by police from the area of Mansel Street.

No-one was found with injuries at the scene but a 19-year-old man later presented at hospital with pellets in his foot. His injuries are not serious.

Enquiries to establish the full circumstances around what happened are under way and police have appealed for anyone with information to contact us.
