TWO SUSPECTS were arrested in Coventry on suspicion of burglary just 30 minutes after a break-in and a 999 call.
Officers were alerted to the intruders at a property in Browns Lane, Allesley, at just before 1.50am.
Response officers and a dogs unit swooped on the scene and stopped a vehicle nearby.
A variety of tools were found in the car, including screwdrivers, bolt cutters and a crowbar.
Officers also found suspected stolen goods.
The two men arrested, aged 37 and 51, were held on suspicion of burglary and were taken into custody for questioning.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We fully understand the devastating impact of burglary on victims, the violation of someone being in your own home or business.
“We won’t tolerate such crimes and will hunt down anyone involved.”
