Rallying call for everyone in the city to join tomorrow's Coventry Moves Together

Coventry Editorial 4th Jun, 2021 Updated: 4th Jun, 2021   0

COMMUNITY and faith leaders are urging people to join them for Coventry Moves Together on Saturday.

Representatives from a range of religions and communities were brought together by Deepak Naik, a Hindu leader in the city, to look ahead to UK City of Culture 2021’s signature event – Coventry Moves.

It begins at 8am and will be enjoyed and experienced by the people in the city, region and across the nation online and through broadcast.

Starting with a solitary voice and culminating at 20.21 in a unique, once-in-a-lifetime, collective moment for the people, it will tell the story of Coventry and look ahead to its future.

It is hoped the whole city will form an orchestra by switching on radios or web-based devices and tuning in.

Deepak said: “Now, more than ever, it is important to unite the whole city after such a difficult year. We want all of our communities to get involved.”
